On Saturday, September 17, 2011 the Cincinnati Reds will unveil a bronze statue dedicated to Johnny. The statue will feature Johnny in a throwing motion toward an imaginary second base. The statue will be placed outside the Hall of Fame entrance along Joe Nuxhall Way and is being sculpted by local artist Tom Tsuchiya.
